Euca-ease®
Euca-ease® is a natural eucalyptus herbal essential oil solution, containing eucalyptus oil and peppermint oil. Eucalyptus oil is rich in cineol, which can soothe respiratory inflammation symptoms. Peppermint oil has a refreshing scent that helps poultry relieve stress and boost vitality. Euca-ease® can alleviate various respiratory symptoms, and stabilize the body's acid-base and temperature balance, while maintaining the growth and egg production performance of poultry.
▼ Main Barriers of the Poultry Respiratory Tract
◆ Cilia: Tiny hair-like structures inside the trachea responsible for moving particles captured by mucus. Damaged cilia take 7-14 days to regenerate.
◆ Mucus: The trachea is covered by a moist tissue called mucosa. The mucosa contains goblet cells (GC) that secrete mucus, and the consistency of the produced mucus is important for the efficiency of cilia activity.
◆ Scavenging Cells: Pulmonary scavenging cells, such as macrophages, actively clear inhaled particles, and bacteria that enter the lower respiratory tract. These cells engulf and kill bacteria, preventing them from spreading further.
